Over Spring Break

Camie and I took the kids shopping at the mall and then took them to Monsters vs Aliens.

It was a cute movie and Sawyer did great through the whole thing.

Heather, Dakota, McCall, Maddie and us all meet at Wingers for lunch one day! It was so great to see them again. It was a short visit. The kids seem to grow so fast when you don't see them everyday! I miss them all so much. I miss just going over in my PJ's and visiting with Heather and Sydnee misses McCall tons! It was nice to see you, keep in touch1

Other than just hanging out we didn't do much for spring break. We started to plan what we needed to pack for our family vacation, and did a few chores around the house that needed to be done. Oh yea did I mention, the 3 inches of snow we had too.?

School county fair

Also on Tuesday, Sydnee's school had a little county fair. There was lots to do there. Pie throwing, musical chairs, darts (Sydnee popped two balloons and got a "big" prize) dancing, dunking booth and face painting. We went early so we could get home for dinner, although they had hot dogs, pop and popcorn there. It was a little hot but, fun. the kids didn't want to leave.

Tuesday Tom was able to fly in a helicopter at work. They went through different canyons to inspect the power lines. He was a little worried about getting sick, but he did great! Sydnee kept telling everyone if you see a helicopter today it is my Dad. It is so great to have a change of "scenery" at work. I was a little jealous!

The kids got really cute Sunday clothes, but I didn't get a pic because we had to hurry off to Tom's Cousins farewell. We also went and Saw my parents and the kids just lit up when they told them about the last two days full of Easter egg hunts!

This year we hit the Sf and Spring Easter hunts1 It was raining and a little cold, but the kids had a blast1 We met Jessica and her kids and Jen and Jimmy and their kids at Sf and went from there. We had a busy day we also went to my Grandma S. and ate a yummy ham dinner and visited with Todd, Lori, Jack, Laura ans Aunt Karen! Lori always spoils the kids and got the kids cute Easter baskets. She even spoiled us. Thank you! It was nice to see everyone!

Sydnee's Derby Car

For Sydnee's kindergarten class she had to make a card-board car with a license plate, of the state that they were assigned. She had to make a Oregon license plate!

She thought long and hard about what kind of car she wanted. She wanted a race car, a truck and then decided on a big diesel truck. A Big Rig! This project was hard for her to help with. She couldn't cut the cardboard or even push the spray can nozzle all the way down. But she did have tons of suggestions. She chose her paint color and how and where to put it, she even helped paint it the best she could! She had all the final dissension's!


My Mom and I went to her little "American" program and watched her parade the halls in her car! The kids sung all there songs so great! I love patriotic songs but when they are sung but your five year old it just makes you cry! I am so proud of Sydnee!

Another tooth : Gone

My little girl lost another tooth!!! She went to her friend, Hailey's for a "Late-over" and ate some candy that made her tooth even more loose. It was just hanging on by a strand so my sweet friend Tehra took care of her and helped her pull it out! She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come again! She got two dollars and four quarters!

One in January and one in March is this going to happen ever other month?

The Swell, Poker Run; March 2009

One of Tom's friends from work invited us to the Swell cure for cabin fever poker run and ride.

The view from our ride were amazing. This is taken on our ride down at the San Rafael Swell.

We had Five different stop along the ride to draw a card and then they would punch our card, in hopes to get a great hand and win a prize! Our poker hands were not that great but the ride, the view and the company was great.

I was so sad they shut off this cave to the public.
