Tonsils

All happy before surgery in his gown.

So I took Sawyer to the Dr before our vacation and he said he had a cold and that is why his tonsils were huge. Okay whatever! A few days later no symptoms but I took Sydnee to the regular Dr. he took a peek in Sawyers mouth and said wow they need to come out. The ENT said the same thing and On Wednesday the 6th of may we took him in to get them out. He was way happy until the Dr took him away! They said they were as big as they get 4+ kissing. I tied to take a picture he has a yellow tongue form a sucker though. He did really well after the surgery and by Friday he didn't want us to shove any medicine down his throat! It was really scary but I was surprised how well he did and how well he got better.

Sydnee had a friend and Cousin party the Saturday before her birthday and than had Grandparents and her Aunt over on her real birthday!

My sweet baby girl is now 6! I can't believe how fast time goes by. I can remember when we first found out we were expecting, I hoped for a girl. But I was just glad that we were going to have a little one. A girl is what we got! I know my Grandma up above helped with sending us a little one. She reminds me of her so often. Sydnee even has a picture of my Grandma, of when she was little and she thinks it is her. I think that Sydnee is a great little girl! I am so lucky to have her.

So Six wonderful, great things about Sydnee.

#1: She really cares about others!

#2: She loves the "spotlight"

#3: She always has great "huge" ideas.

#4: Her cute freckles across her nose.

#5: She has a sweet voice and loves to sing.

#6: She ALWAYS takes care of her little brother.

This year Sydnee chose a "at home" party. Even after all the other choices we gave her. She wanted to have a pinata and have friends over. So Tom and I started getting games ideas ready and made and passed out invites. We got face painting, a dart balloon game a duck pond, a cake walk and pinata and more all ready for the bog day. We were so grateful for our sister's help running all the games. We could not have done it with out them. THANKS! The kids first ate a hot dog and then on to the games and face painting were they all won prizes. The kids then played the cake walk and pinata. Then it was time for cake an ice cream. Sydnee opened her gifts and thanked them all and last we put popcorn in their gift bags to take home. I heard lots of the kids say they had so much fun. So i guess it was a success!

I am so glad we were home to be able to see them both.

Well I have to say I didn't miss out! I made it home to see all my tulips in full bloom! I love spring and was so worried I wouldn't get to see the flowers in bloom. It doesn't last long her because of the wind.

Our Disneyland vacation.

We flew into Long beach on Saturday morning and it was great. We then got our Grand Marque rental car, huge but nice and then headed to the fist beach Corona Del Mar. It was so beautiful! The kids loved it. It was a little windy but nice! Then we headed to our hotel! The next day Disney and Disney California everyday after. We met up with Jim and his family and Tehra and her family. The kids had so much fun! I love to see their faces light up it is so neat! On Thursday we went to Huntington Beach, we were planing on going to Lego land but Sydnee got sick and we all need the rest. On Friday we went to Disneyland again before we flew out that night.
