Thanksgiving & Light Parade

Jimmy, Felecya, Zack, tom, Sawyer, my Mom, Sam and Sydnee watching the light parade down main on the day after Thanksgiving.
Me, Sawyer, Sam and Sydnee, trying to stay warm.
We had a great thanksgiving, We went to Jaynes, tom's Mom's and had yummy turkey dinner at 5 and then the Saturday after we went to my grandpa's and again ate a wonderful meal. Thanksgiving is a great time to remind you of all the things you have to be grateful for. (Of course) So having this time to reflect on the things I am grateful for is a blessing. I am so grateful for my husband and kids for my family and Tom's. I am blessed by those around me and all their talents and examples they are to me. I am so lucky to be able to stay at home with my children and to be able to meet their needs. Thankful a small word but very powerful!

They wanted something crazy.
Sawyer, being Sawyer, a Cheese!
Sydnee making her cake.
Felecya making her cake.
We had Felecya spend the night and the kids had so much fun playing and laughing. In the morning they baked with the easy bake oven. (Again NOT easy, it takes forever) Then we did their cute hair! They had a really great time together, like always! I can't believe they even put their self's to bed! Thanks for spending the night Felc it was fun!

My handy Men

My sweet, talented husband is just way to good to me. My sister in law and I came up with the idea to make these huge magnet boards that we can put our calendars on and every other note we have. Only I never thought they would be so much work. Tom always makes sure he does things right and that they wont fall apart. Not only did he have these two projects on his list but also four huge poster frames. He did an awesome job and I really love how they turned out.

My two men building.
Cheese!
Doesn't it look great!

OZ Play

We went to AF high school Wizard of Oz play! We just got the movie and the kids loved it! We thought that it would be good for Sydnee to see how they put on a play! She is going to be in the Wizard of Oz play in March and they have been practicing like crazy!

Hard work

So Tom and I have decided to sell our home in Logan next year and also decided it has been six years of no updates. We have a renter in the home now and clearing her stuff and cleaning the area we were going to paint was half the battle. She didn't move one item. (She new what was happening)
This is the kitchen before paint and new floors!
My sister Sam and her boyfriend, Cade came up and helped us the whole weekend!
It was so nice of them! They were sooo much help!
Some more before pics of the living room.
After we ripped out the carpet.
Yea, all done! We also put up base boards and changed the garden tubs fossat and put new 2 in. blinds up! We did lots of little things that really need to be done a long time ago! It is hard to keep up when you live so far away!
We were even so nice to put her stuff back for her.
Living room after updates.
Kitchen after updates.
It was a very long hard weekend! We worked from Friday night until early Tuesday morning. I love how it turned out and hope it makes a great impression on buyers. I also have to give my many and lots of Thanks to My parents and Tom's parents and my sister Camie for watching our kids! I owe you all!
