Tom's co-worker and friend just returned home from Afghanistan. He had a whole line of police, fire, ambulance, and line trucks that escorted him to his home. Tom was part of the escort and told me to take Sawyer down to watch. Sawyer loved it! He covered his ears and waved to all the trucks! It brought tears to my eyes to think about how much his family must have missed him, how much he put on the line for my freedom. I was impressed with the turn out but does it really say thank you enough?
